V4C3Tx MXene Phase Powder Description
V4C3Tx MXene Phase Powder is a novel two-dimensional transition metal carbide derived from the selective etching of V4AlC3 MAX phase. With its unique vanadium-rich structure, this MXene exhibits excellent electrical conductivity, high surface reactivity, and tunable surface terminations (Tx, such as –O, –OH, –F). These properties make it a promising candidate for advanced applications in lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries, supercapacitors, electrocatalysis, and electromagnetic shielding. The powder typically appears as a dark gray to black material with a sheet-like morphology, and its flake size can be controlled through processing methods. For long-term stability, V4C3Tx MXene Phase Powder should be vacuum-dried and stored in an inert atmosphere to prevent oxidation.
